2020 Summer Programs
ANNOUNCEMENT
We have reformatted our summer programs to create a smaller sized and shorter time period, developmental training programs.
The governor released guidelines that baseball teams may begin practicing on June 22nd and play games as of July 6.

While we will do everything we can to create a safe environment and follow the guidelines, it is important to understand that this is a confusing time for all. There are a wide variety of opinions within each community of what guidelines should be and what they currently are. Please consider these factors when deciding to enroll your son.

Registration for each session will limited and must be submitted online due to enrollment restrictions.
Two options are available.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
The governor released guidelines that baseball teams may begin practicing on June 22nd and play games as of July 6.
- Each session's enrollment will be limited.
- In each session, players will be assigned in to groups/teams of 10-12 players. Our training programs will resemble those of a team practice, with players being a part of the same group/team throughout the week.
- Groups will be spread out throughout our baseball facilities. Players will be required to bring a mask but will not be required to wear masks while playing. We will be socially distancing to the best of our abilities during the training.
- All registrants will be required to sign a waiver.

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
- Hitting Developmental Program- Training will be dedicated to the development of a players swing. Players will partake in hitting drills throughout the session.
- Skills Developmental Session- Players will split training time between, defensive drills (pitching, infield and outfield), hitting drills and modified games.
- Futures Developmental Program - Players will train at a specific position (pitching, catching, infield and outfield), in hitting drills and play modified games.

Focus on mechanical development with low-level arm stress, short distance throwing, in order to achieve repeatable mechanics that will translate to full-distance mound throwing. Players will progress through a series of drills each day, building off of the previous day's instruction. Pitching grips will also be instructed during the camp. |
A cumulative catching camp that will cover every aspect of catching position including stances, receiving, blocking, throwing (arm motion and lower half mechanics when throwing to bases) and some fielding skills, Each catcher will be instructed individually to a standard that parallels their skill level. |
Building the foundations of the swing including grip, stance, load, proper swing path, extension and finish. Extensive drill work that includes stationary, low velocity and high velocity ball movement that will aid in creating a repeatable swing for each player. Appropriate players will also be instructed in situational hitting, bunting and mental approach. |
Full day program that encompasses all of the aspects of development in the game of baseball. Players will be instructed and drilled in the following skills each day during this camp session.

The “Futures” program is limited to rising 7th, 8th and 9th graders. This particular program is designed for players who aspire to be future high school level players. It also provides the player an opportunity to learn from and showcase their skills in front of the CBA coaching staff and other area high school coaches. |
