- WEATHER
- We do not cancel for heat.
- Parents please hydrate your children at home and make sure they eat and sleep properly. That will help their experience at camp.
- Ultimately, a parent must decide if the temperature is too hot for their child that day. We do not cancel sessions for heat.
- Please note, while we modify and monitor during extreme weather, this is a sports camp and not a day camp, so their will be more activity in the camp session.
- Players must bring their own water jugs. We will have large jugs for players to refill as needed. Bigger jugs are better. Small water bottles are disruptive as these players constantly want to fill up their water. This makes it hard for coaches to monitor players leaving to get water while overseeing a field or station. Players should also bring coolers with wet rags for cooling purposes.
- WET BULB MEASUREMENTS: The CBA administration requires all summer camps conducted at CBA to adhere to the NJSIAA Wet Bulb measurements, which have been put in place for the safety of the athletes. Wet Bulb measurements provide guidance during extremely hot temperatures and regulate activity to rest ratios. The CBA athletic trainer will take daily temperature measurements and instruct all camp directors as to the allowable activity. You can find more information regarding wetbulb temperatures and activity to rest ratios here
- Indoor facilities are not available.
- If a session has to be cancelled due to rain, a message will be posted on our website and an email sent, ONE HOUR prior to the start of the program. If no messages are posted or no emails are sent, that means that camp is on as scheduled.
